Our overall experience was quite disappointing. We visited this café early in the morning for breakfast and found ourselves to be the only customers throughout our entire visit. Unfortunately, the lack of music or any background noise resulted in a complete absence of ambiance or atmosphere. The silence was so pronounced that we felt the need to whisper, and it seemed as though the staff were watching us the entire time so we didn’t feel free to conversate. The gentleman who served us barely interacted with us, making the customer service experience rather strange.

One of the best coffees and almond I had! I was on a morning rush and of course I read reviews before coming here. Mostly 5 stars reviews and raving positive comments. It didn’t disappoint. I was greeted with a warm welcome which feels nice. Great music, atmosphere and especially customer service. Price is reasonable. Located at the corner of Platform 1 Yaraville train station. Would definitely come back for brunch.

I accepted the Melbourne $5 coffee of 2023, but $7.11 for a iced long black with 3 ice cubes is terrible. I’ve been mischarged by this place by fifty cents here and there most times I’ve gotten a coffee but I disputed the $7 cost and he said that’s how much they are. Avoid

Literally everything on the menu at Dad and Dave’s is delicious. Whether you want something sweet or savoury, you can get a perfect meal. The slow cooked lamb and the pancakes are particular highlights!

Had a relaxing brunch over looking the street scape. Enjoyed an iced coffee and a big breakfast. Cafe is right next to Yarraville Station so it is nice and convenient to catch the train into town once your done.

Coffee was no good, the beans tasted old. Service was also not extremely friendly, which is surprising in this area, but not too bad either. Maybe they weren’t happy to be open on a public holiday, I don’t know. The pastry was pretty good though (strawberry danish).
