The other reviews are why we chose this place. Although the actual fish was ok the batter it was in was not pleasant. Too overcooked and very chewy and rubbery, see photo.. the scallops were overwhelmed by the batter.

September 2022- came back here as a bit of a nostalgia hit, this is without a doubt the best fish n chips I’ve ever had. I already have plans to travel back to the area to eat more of this delicious food. Staff are friendly and quick and it’s definitely well priced, especially for such a fantastic feed. (Took it up to Black Hill Reserve to eat it in nature, as a lil travel tip to people new to the area)

Just ordered a piece of battered fish. Very average and tough. It was priced at $7.50 but I was charged $8, I was too tired and only realised later after I left. Won’t be back.

Oct 2022 – First time visit discovered an excellent fish & chip shop. Superb hamburger with the lot and very crispy, tasty potato cakes. Burger is a cross between old fashioned and new style trendy.
