Paid $29.90 for a cocktail pack (this included a 15% surcharge for the public holiday) only to receive the worst chips I have ever been served, they have been fried beyond belief and can’t believe the owner could see these and still serve them. As a local regular customer this has been extremely disappointing to say the least. It wasn’t busy there were 6 people including myself waiting. I have been trying to call for an hour unable to reach them.

I went for the Tuesday deal, buy 2nd fish n chips for $2. The staff were extremely busy and at the same time very friendly. It was so busy the wait queue on the footpath was 10 to 20 people deep for the 20 minutes i waited. The food was great for a fish & chip shop. I’ll be back.

Went down late on a Sunday during a quiet period of the year to be find 3 or 4 others waiting. Was told the wait is 25-30mins. Grilled barramundi was riddled with bones. Had to spit it almost every bite. Seafood stick and crumbed prawns were average. Chips seemed old. Staff were stressed. The young girl serving was super nice and friendly though. After hearing it was one of the best in town it was pretty avg tbh. Got him and realised I was overcharged as well.

Usually come here as we love the battered fish, but unfortunately this time we ate more oil then fish. They need to drain properly. I was holding a bit of fish with oil running down my hands. It was disgusting. Very disappointed as I have been looking forward to it. Also the staff weren’t as nice as they could have been. A little rude as I asked for no salt on my fish but because they forgot and added salt they made out it was already packed. Rubbish or they would have gave it to me then instead of my food sitting there for an extra 3 minutes going cold.
