Hadn’t eaten here since BC (Before COVID) ordered two midway burgers, salt and pepper squid, and fish and chips. Salad and vege bar back in service and was good. Meals were good and tasty and service was reasonably good considering how busy it was, it was pretty packed. The only complaint was that not all of our meals came out at the same time, not too far apart, but enough to be annoying. Based on this experience, I would recommend and go back.

We had a great meal at the Midway. The chicken schnitzel was a little dry and definitely smaller than other pubs I have been to but the rest of the meals were great. Considering it was Father’s day and they were really busy the service was fast and friendly. Great overall experience.

Worst service i have ever had. Completely ignored while waiting to order food. Made my drink and left it while she made someone else’s. Brought out my meal that I had asked to be brought out as a main and was put in the middle of the table. Brought out another person’s single piece of fish and was told the other piece was still coming. Didn’t clear away dirty dishes. I t was unbelievable. This is my local hotel but I won’t be going back.

I can’t add any stars for food, service or atmosphere nor price. as I never ate or drank any thing so I don’t know about service ECT. I expect it should be good no one said anything bad everyone seemed happy. I was there for a wake which was good considering. The sandwiches we had were great and the party pies and doing rolls and what have you. I saw someone with wedges they looked good so did the drinks.

We went in Saturday night for dinner, there was 11 of us and I have to say that our meals took 50 minutes to arrive and not one of us finished our meal. The portions were small, people after us we’re getting their meals before us, the salad / veg bar is not great. One of the kid’s meals they didn’t even get their dessert or drink that comes with the kids meals. It was also freezing cold in there as well. Definitely won’t be back.

Love the Tavern. Salad/veggie bar operating. Ideal for Birthday celebrations..large long or round tables for crowds, tables for pairs or groups of 4 or 6. Regular, Seniors and Chef’s Specials available at Lunch. $1-20pp. Very reasonable prices. Excellent staff. ♿ . 2 ♿ ️. The entrance doors are a bit heavy, do not open by themselves but have easy access otherwise.
