Food was average.. got the la combination and fillings for enchilada, taco and the cylinder taco was super mushy, and needed seasoning.. the staff came around every 15mins to try and take plates away from our table, even plates that werent finished. 1 main waitress was pretty rude, interrupting conversations to keep clearing a clear table, like wth.. we eventually got the hint that they wanted us to leave

Amazing vibe! The staff are extremely friendly. The owner is there and making sure everyone is happy and well looked after. They will bend over backwards for you. Not only would I suggest supporting this business because of the staffs positive attitude but the food is also FANTASTIC!!! Do yourself and your company a favour and book a table at Mexican Cantina!

Wasn’t bad but I felt the food came inconsistently. One half of a meal (meat) would come and the other half required to eat the meal (pita, rice etc) came 20min later or visa versa. Was a bit frustrating sitting there watching your meal get cold and being unable to eat it. Also the vegetarians didnt get there food for half an hr after the first meal was served. Waitresses said they were short of plates or containers or something. In saying this though, we were a large group of 20+ so they may have been overwhelmed and unprepared for it. The burrito I got was tasty though.

I love it when you stumble upon a hidden gem. After a long day, I was craving some Mexican cuisine and happened upon this place, hidden down the back behind a strip of shops… and I was pleasantly surprised. Greeted very warmly on our arrival, we were soon seated and ordered a selection of food – all delicious and very authentic. We will definitively be back soon to enjoy the friendly service and awesome cuisine! 🙂
