We were in Broken Hill for a week on a music tour and this was the most satisfying meal we had during our stay there. We had a massive catered dinner and it was almost completely gone before I could get a plate, so I went back for lunch the next day. Delicious. Thank you for providing us with simple, warm and flavourful food while we were away from home. The staff also came to our final concert at the Civic Centre across the road and it was so beautiful seeing them there. Well worth a visit.

This place has amazing authentic Indian food. I think it is one of the best places in Broken Hill to eat. Every time I order the staff are so friendly. It’s great value, super fast, and delicious!

Great little place in Broken Hill, and probably the only Indian restaurant in the town. A lot of people in the reviews have complained about the Naan, however, the Naans are ‘home made’ (having had them all my life I can tell the difference) and not packaged naans. That’s why they taste different. The food definitely could be better in terms of consistency, however, the fact that one can have Indian food in the middle of nowhere is a luxury. The service was also great and the person taking the order was very polite and kind. Would definitely come back if we happen to pass by Broken Hill again.

Sarika puts a massive amount of heart and care in showing Broken Hill her traditional cuisine and cooking. I have been a customer for more than several years and every order is quality. Excellent food and highly recommend.

Excellent choices of curries and sides; during our work visit we ordered from Masallas multiple times for dinner and lunch due to their wide selection of choices. From the naans to the curries the dishes were all delicious and of great size. In addition, the customer service was excellent and accommodating to our dietary requirements.

Ordered take out – chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Chicken was ok and naan was soft. Being only Indian restaurant in BH, I have nothing to complain.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is good, but when asked if we can use the numerous “outdoor” tables and chairs to eat our food it was refused, apparently due to the C demic and lack of staff. Get over it and let your customers eat in comfort. Whatever the media wanted you to be afraid of it’s no longer relevant. I generally give good reviews but people can see from the poor attitude in your reply why you only got one star.
