Stunning views of the marina. We were fortunate to be seated by the window looking out onto the marina. The turquoise waters and the sunset within half an hour of our arrival, made it look picture-perfect. The service was great, and we felt well taken care of. For a restaurant by the marina, the sea food could have been better – the prawn spaghetti wasn’t as good as expected – lots of places that do it better in Melbourne. The barramundi was good. The tuna tartare and the scallops were great. The chocolate dessert was good as well. Overall – highly recommended.

Overpriced. I didn’t like the lobster and crab spaghetti at all. The ‘black spaghetti was tasteless and there was just the smallest amount of lobster and crab. It was also very salty. The entree was just OK , nothing to rave about. The bread rolls were the pick of the food. The staff were great. The wine was way overpriced as well, although very nice. There are better places on the island.

Our party of 6 dined at Mariners last night. It was over-priced and we felt rushed along by an unfriendly waiter. Ordered bottle of rose and white to share but waiter tipped half the rose into one person’s goblet so we needed to buy a second. A great upselling trick! Overall, meal was expensive and underwhelming.

Service was good & entrees were fresh & tasty. Salmon was bland & extremely overcooked which made it very dry. Main portions were quite small compared to other restaurants we’d eaten at on the island.
