When we entered, the staff warmly seated us, and after reviewing the menu, we went to the counter to order and pay for coffee, chili egg, and pizza. The coffee arrived in less than a minute, impressing us with its speed. However, after finishing the coffee, we waited for over half an hour for our food, which left us puzzled as others who came later were already eating. We approached the staff, and after checking their computer, they claimed we hadn’t placed an order. We told them that we ordered and paid at the counter, but they insisted it was table service. It was frustrating because the counter staff didn’t inform us about it and accepted our order and payment. Eventually, the chili egg arrived after five minutes, but when we asked about the pizza, they said it would take another 10 minutes. By the time we finished our meal, the pizza still hadn’t arrived, so we asked for a refund. This is a place with serious process issues.

My partner and I went to Mansfield Coffee Merchant twice for brunch during our weekend visit from Melbourne. My partner loves his coffee and we both agreed the coffee was fantastic. Best mocca I have ever had (including places in Melbourne) and my partner loved the latte. We had a second cup.

Went to Mansfield Coffee Merchant for breakfast. I didn’t have a booking, but the staff was very friendly and got us a place to sit. The service and the ambience were good. I had chilli eggs and it was pretty good and the coffee was well made. Will definitely recommend people to go there for coffee or Brekky. Their location is pretty good. People can stop over for coffee or Brekky before heading to Mount Buller.

Visited here with friends for a walk in breakfast on Sunday, and while we understand it was busy we didn’t receive great service from one of the waitresses, she was rude with her questions and no smiling.

We enjoyed it here. It’s a lovely hipster standard cafe. They have delicious silky coffee here. It was brilliant and we could not fault it. There’s no all day breakfast but you can have eggs and all the extras. I had that and mine was superb as it was beautifully cooked and presented with no skimping. A final shout out to the lovely funky staff here. They helped create a very happy experience.

Excellent coffee shop and cafe. Coffee is excellent. Portions were extreme. Service was quite good when you consider the place was full of patrons. The large windows mean you can watch the world pass by. Parking is terrible in Mansfield. But the walk is worth the visit.
