Paid $60 for two of these carbonaras was absolutely disappointing being a local. They were tiny! They also stuffed up my order and ended up waiting 30 minutes, only apologies no free meal or entree. Would not recommend, reached out on Facebook page only to be left on read. Do not recommend.

As a local, normally this was a restaurant I liked to dine at, but will definately never return under current management! Totally disappointed with the food and lack of service on Saturday 16/9. I rarely leave a bad review as I only look at the positives, but this warrants a warning to others.

I booked a table for my wife and 2 friends to celebrate my birthday. Have dined here before and was satisfied however, tonight’s experience left me with a bad taste. It was like our table was invisible. We had to reach out to wait staff 3 times, once to ask for menus, another to place our order and lastly to request our food after waiting nearly 45 minutes for our auntray.

We have been their a handful of times and it is always good. The staffs are always smiling even when the are run off their feet. The owner is a lovely man the pizza are always freshly made with the freshest ingredients. I would go back to Mamma Mia. Brought my grand here and I have never seen my granddaughter eat so much. She is a very picky eater and she is only 4 years old. She nearly ate a whole garlic pizza on her own. Mama Mia is very expensive but I guess you are paying for a waterfront view.

Beautiful balmy Queensland evening. What better way to enjoy a delicious meal than a pizza at Mamma Mia’s. First time for us but definitely not the last. Starting with a light appetising bruschetta then the pizza arrives much bigger & appealing than I expected. The crust was heavenly for my partner who loves thin crust. Then we bite into the pizza, (Mamma Mia pizza, that’s what it’s called). Wow. I’m lost for words. I love my pizzas & I definitely love my Mamma Mia’s pizza.

Wonderful food at Mamma Mia! Our group had the salmon lasagna, carbonara, pollo al pepe verde, polpette pasta and tiramisu for dessert. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I haven’t had salmon lasagna before and it was divine! The tiramisu is one of the best I’ve had and beats some of the ones I’ve had in Italy and Italian restaurants in Melbourne!

One word, AWESOME. We arrived for a 6pm reservation with the restaurant already at 3/4 capacity. Were taken to our table where a chilled bottle of water was promptly brought out. 5 minutes pass and the friendly waitress came to take our drinks and food order. We ordered 2 drinks, Pizza for our entree and 2 main pasta dishes. The drinks were at the table within 5 minutes with the pizza following close behind. We finished the entree and before we knew it the mains were placed on the table piping hot. All said and done we were in and out of the restaurant in just over an hour. What fantastic efficient service by the front and back of house. The food was delicious and the sizes were very generous. Would we return and highly recommend to our friends? YES. Thank you Manna Mia Trattoria Pizzeria for what was fantastic moorish food and even better service Added bonus is the absolutely beautiful backdrop.
