Took forever. We made the mistake of thinking a long line meant it would be good. It was coated in salt and neither of us asked for or wanted extra salt. The crumps were way too much. Just a generally disappointing experience and won’t be back.

We got takeaway fish and chips and it was excellent! Potato scallops were a highlight. Generous sized servings of fish. We then went back and bought some fresh fish and prawns to take home and cook ourselves. The seafood was fresh and good quality.

I purchase a seafood pack for one with prawns, fish, calamari and scallops. Scallops dry and over cooked, chips soggy fresh chips would have been nice. Calamari chewy and over cooked, prawns batter soggy. I was told to come here for good seafood but after this I won’t be back. If the locals say this is good food maybe they need to try somewhere else and see what good fish and chips taste like. Come to the sunshine coast and you will see what fish and chips are meant to taste like not second hand food like I had today. I noticed the owner does not reply to any bad reviews at all that says something. Stay away go else where

From the amount of people waiting for food when we arrived we had a feeling this place was going to be good. Even under the pump the staff were friendly and worked as fast as they could to get orders through. The fish itself was really tasty but I found the batter to be a little chewy. The crumbed scallops though were to die for. I’m kind of divided on the chips though. I did enjoy them as they weren’t too soggy but they seemed lacking in salt. One down side is the serving size was too big, making great value for money, but left some food waste. I’d say the fish pack is great yo share with maybe a few scallops or prawns on the side.
