Not to lie. Very nice tasting tacos… BUT would love to see them fill their tacos up to the top. Been to the place multiple times and have been very inconsistent on their fillings… the taco have been about a 1/4 full. Very skimpy on the serve but yet you still pay $14 for 3 tacos… we feel like we are just eating the outside shell with nothing in it. Thanks

I recently ordered at Mad Mex, and I must say, I had an extremely disappointing experience with their service staff. The servers were not only impolite but also spoke in hushed tones, making it difficult to understand them. Moreover, when I asked them to repeat themselves, their impatience was evident, which further worsened my dining experience. Overall, it was a subpar experience due to the discourteous and unhelpful behaviour of the Mad Mex service staff

THE BEST FOR VEGANS. Where do I even begin. Mad mex has been my favourite fast food joint for about 3 years now and I have been an AVID customer. Everybody is always so lovely there, the food is to die for and I just can’t believe how fresh, flavoursome food can be so affordable! Who knew! I am vegan and having vegan options for fast food makes such a positive, inclusive impact on the community (the only thing I would say is maybe gluten free wraps for my gluten free friends?). I was recently served by Sabian who is currently training to be supervisor and boy I am so happy that is the case! What incredible customer service, upbeat and not to mention that vegan cheese is no longer extra!!! I feel so welcome at mad mex, thank you for changing my life.

Ordered takeaway and watched them make it. I had to get them to re-make both things I ordered (burrito and tacos). The food prep area was really messy with food spills everywhere, and I saw my burrito get dragged through a load of spilt food. The tortilla was way overhanging the foil and got cream and cheese, etc. smeared all over my VEGAN burrito! (As well as vegan am lactose intolerant, so would have been sick if I’d not seen it). The girl kept making it until I pointed it out, and she said she’d make it again and started doing so but without wiping down the countertop first until I asked her to! I don’t know if it was because she was upset at having to remake the burrito or if this is normal, but our 3 tacos got to her next in the production line and she almost the guacamole and aol at them, breaking 2 of the shells, then realised she’d forgotten lettuce and tried to stuff some in around the mess, further crushing the taco shells then threw a handful of vegan cheese on top of the whole mess. She handed me a bowl of mushed up mess that didn’t even resemble tacos. I politely (yes really!) pointed out that the tacos were all broken and the fillings are supposed to be IN the tacos, not on top of a pile of broken taco shells – no way we could pick them up to eat them. She apologised and made them again. When we finally got our meal, the food was tasty, but if I hadn’t been watching her make it, we would have got home and opened it to find around $30 worth of food we couldn’t eat. We usually go to Zambrero in Geelong West, which is always spotlessly clean, great service and delicious mex food, but we thought we’d try this place because it’s a lot closer to my parents’ home (Grovedale) where we stay when in Geelong. Very disappointed and will definitely go back to making the trip across to West in future
