Delicious food, welcoming new owner! The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the sides were enjoyable. The staff were friendly, and the changes made by the new owner are impressive. Definitely one of my favorite spots now!

Yeah not great at all. Chicken smells and tastes funny. Not crispy or charcoaly at all. Tastes like it was microwaved then dunked in dirty dish washer. Chips were soggy, not crispy. Gravy was terrible. Tasted like there was soap in it. Salad was nice and fresh though. Service was good though and the lady was lovely. I really don’t like writing bad reviews, but hopefully it serves as constructive criticism for improvement. Maybe owners need to go visit the lakes Sammy’s charcoal chicken to get an idea of what charcoal chicken should be.

Would not recommend this charcoal chicken. First red flag was probably the previous customers already suggesting to me to check the chicken before I eat it as they’ve had under cooked chicken from the store and unfortunately that’s exactly what we got. Undercooked chicken is dangerous for anyone let alone me who is 35 weeks pregnant. Id hate to get sick from this experience and potentially have something serious happen to me the baby or anyone else. Very disappointing.
