This place was a very hidden gem just off the Bruce Highway in Bowen. The place is a true delight to stop for coffee or brunch I ordered three mains and they were all delicious, just be sure to request your favourite sauce or topping as the food arrives with out any sauce unless you specifically request it. But it’s great food, the portions are generous and I truly enjoyed the meal, as did my family.

Love coming here when we visit Bowen. Great coffee and food and friendly staff. It’s always busy and you may have to wait for your food a little but it’s worth the wait. The kids waffle was amazing. My daughter loved it. Excellent outdoor area and play area for kids. Up beet juice was also very tasty. Will definitely be returning. 5/5!

We enjoyed our time at the sisters. We wish sometimes that places had menus for seniors, like the amount of food and price cut in half. The food was lovely but too much and couldn’t finish it.

I love going to The Sisters for breakfast or lunch. Dale our son from Cairns, is down for a few days so he took me out for breakfast. My favourite is eggs Benedict. They do it so well. It’s a real treat. From what I’ve seen everything is very well done. I love the coffee. It’s the only place I have coffee instead of tea.

Have eaten here before meals were quite good. Drove up from Airle Beach 1hr away only to find out they are not dog friendly. Might want to update web page. Was Advised new owners since Feb don’t want dogs o well went too Flagstaff Hill Cafe instead. Was fantastic and dog friendly.

The food here was great, BUT the BEST thing about this cafe is how dog friendly it is! Spent one night in Bowen with our dogs and saw that this cafe was dog-friendly – really only expected a water bowl and a corner of the cafe for the dogs to sit with us. What you get here is a dog-only entrance and exit, a fenced off area that is bigger than the childrens play area (love this!!), plenty of tables to sit, a water bucket and some balls for the dogs. They had plenty of space to run around and then be tied off on the loops on the shade poles while we ate. THIS is how you do dog-friendly!!! Thank you!!

Wow! Hands down the best cafe we’ve been to since leaving Melbourne, by a landslide!!! No one even comes close! Atmosphere, service and food all 11/10 hahaha! Thank you thank you thank you! I was losing hope of a decent feed up here. Prices all super reasonable for what you get too, menu extensive. Very very satisfied worth a stop 100%

New owners just totally abused hubby and i. Hubby just out of hospital so i parked close to the entrance. Was back at the car and about to move it when he abused me! Omg. Only one other couple there. No other customers to be seen so I hadn’t been in anyone’s way. Also TOTALLY not dog friendly. They must stay in the car. Got our money back only positive. Horrible man.
