Le Comptoir is a french restaurant and deli located in Aireys Inlet, Victoria. It was born out of Samuel Roig-Sclafer homage to his home town where he grew up outside of Bordeaux, France. “Le Comptoir” translates to “The Counter”, made prominent by the long serving counter in the shop, full of beautiful artisan cheeses and a unique selection of daily meats and charcuterie. “Do not forget Bordeaux,” says co-owner Sam Roig. Born in France with Catalan heritage Sam grew up surrounded by a culture rich in cheese, charcuterie and wine.

My wife, kids and I frequent this amazing French patisserie and have never been disappointed. The coffee and French food are irresistible. Megan, Remi and the rest of the team that work there always greet you with a smile and are so accommodating, which adds to the amazing experience. I even challenged them with arranging a birthday cake for my wife’s birthday which Remi was so proud to present to me when I arrived for pick up. I’m a customer every morning of our holiday because I can’t get enough of this place. Can’t recommend enough!

Super arrogant, borderline infuriating attitudes/staff. Not remotely warranted as the place is an overpriced deli masquerading as something out of High Street, Malvern serving lukewarm coffee, cheeses you can get at the Foodworks in Lorne for a third of the price and average (albeit over priced, over seasoned, and over done) food and wine.

Beautiful little french resturant/deli. Feels like a real authentic french experience, food options are vast and the service is fantastic. Would highly recommend for breakfast/lunch/dinner or just a glass of wine with some cheese.

What a load of overpriced w@nkery. To offer zero milk alternatives feels like a clear signal: Lactose intolerant and vegans not welcome here. Seemed to be some delicious food on offer but the price tags incredibly steep. Take out a second mortgage and BYO oat milk if you go here.
