What a great experience! Visiting from USA, chose to try them out over other local options. Five different fishes, some local and some imported. We had barramundi and sweet lip. Others included cod, flake and one other. Very fresh, great coating that was nice and crunchy with a side of chips. The portions were almost too much to eat and the price was a delight. We walked in and ordered, left to the bottle shop for a beer and came back to a large package of food. We ate at the tables outside and it was clean and under cover. The owner chatted with us and we let him know he had it right.

I’m not new to the area. My aunt has lived in Beachmere for over thirty years. What I am quite surprised at coming from Noosa originally, and moving down to Brisbane, before coming back here, is the prices.

Very disappointed. Cold soggy fish and chips. Ordered early by phone for pickup at 7pm. Arrived promptly at 7 pm to find that our order had been placed in the hot box. It wasn’t hot and the fish was so soggy that the crumb was falling off.
