We recently had my husband’s 60th birthday celebrations at La Sardina Loca!

Tapas was delicious. Loved the oysters with apple granita, chicken liver parfait, fish of the day, whipped anchovy with tomatoes. Cocktails were also on point. Shout out to the staff and to Etianne for looking after us. Will definitely come back and recommend this place

It was so good we came back a second time during our trip of only 4 days in Hobart. The venue is gorgeous with beautiful red brick walls and fairy lights, some cute olive trees in the courtyard. I felt like I was transported to some village courtyard in Italy. The food was exquisite and so stunningly presented and the service top notch! with beautiful and warmly welcoming staff members. We had several shared plates from the menu including oysters (which were deliciously fresh and tasty), fish of the day, etc but my absolute favourite was the dish with goat and pea puree. I love all the ingredients in that dish and would have never thought of putting them together. Everything was such a delight to the eyes and to the taste buds.

Booked the private dining room upstairs for a long lunch. The team could not have been more obliging or welcoming- always responding to emails and enquiries on the run up to the lunch, and nothing was too much trouble on the day itself.

Accidentally stumbled across this place walking by, they were fully booked but luckily they were able to sneak us in, on a shortened time frame.

This place is popular, so book ahead. The service was pretty good. The food was alright – not spectacular, but still an enjoyable experience. They don’t have a huge menu, so if you’re a picky eater, probably check the menu beforehand. The bread and cauliflower was a bit burnt/over charred. The meatballs and croquettes were tasty.

Hidden little gem. Great atmosphere in their backyard. The food was average. The staff was very friendly. Good place for a first drink. The baked califlower was good.

Amazing food, the manchego cheese puffs were really great. The vibe was good staff friendly and gave helpful recommendations for our group on what to pick. Cocktails were delicious and sangria so good you’d think you were in Spain!
