30 min wait for 1 pizza and a portion calamari to go. The quality of the pizza was unbelievably low, nothing in here can be called “authentic Italian Food”. Looking at the positive reviews and the amount of work they had maybe the problem is me. Definitely I won’t suggest this place for people looking for authenticity.

I use to eat there regularly when I lived nearby some 35 years ago. Moved back recently and nothing’s changed thankfully. They’ve somehow managed to keep it a perfect little pizzeria. The pizza base is what makes it a winner. The family works the restaurant and flat out. Great atmosphere and kid friendly. Such a nostalgic trip that didn’t disappoint. Awesome reunion for this foodie.

Lovely family restaurant serving hearty Italian dishes with dine-in and takeaway options. I loved the creaminess of the bosciola sauce and the al dente fettuccine but unfortunately the chicken was dry. The actual size of the “small”pizza was pleasantly surprising and the dough had a lovely chew. We decided we had to order dessert at $6 per gelato and we were not disappointed. An almond chocolate coating to the nougat and chocolate gelato reminded me of ferrero rocher.. So yummy

La Fornaia is the BEST woodfired pizza restaurant in South Wales…. The pizzas are thick and fluffy, never without a topping! The salads are very refreshing with the best dressing. Haven’t figured out what it is but it tastes so good! I recommend this place to everyone… You cannot walk past top class pizza right here!
