Best Italian I’ve had anywhere outside of Italy. Non pretentious perfection. It’s easy to make complex food seem fantastic. But what takes real skill and knowledge is the ability to make the simple dishes really something special. We had the Schiacciata and Pasta al Pomodoro, two very simple and traditional dishes. Had them many times at many restaurants in the past……..but very rarely of this calibre. Nothing short of amazing. Served by very friendly and helpful staff. The owner clearly has a real passion for his Italian food and the place feels like a genuine little local Italian joint with all the propert Italian products for sale like a little Italian deli. We’re only in town for two nights and we are going back tomorrow and canceling our plans we had to dine at one of Byron’s more prestigious eateries to eat here again, we’re not leaving town without trying the Marinara! Just get here and eat.

Fantastic Italian restaurant! Best out of all the places we’ve eaten (and we eat a lot of Italian food). Would definitely come again when we’re in the area next

It was such a delightful experience, very warm ambience and absolutely wonderful service!! The pasta, pizza and lasagna really reflected the chef’s heart in his dishes, our tummies were well pleased :)) With love from Singapore, here at Byron Bay for one day of our 14-day road trip and so very blessed at this dinner here!

Best pizza ever, we stop here for lunch with all my family, panini with real italian prosciutto crudo, bresaola and stracchino, like nonna used to do back home in Italy.

Food was delicious and authentic, although I felt it was a bit expensive. Pizzas for 1 person were $30 and the same with the Pasta, I think we paid roughly $12 Aus for a pizza in Italy for 1 person, but it is Byron Bay so high prices to be expected but I’m wondering how many are just pricing themselves out of customers. Service was very friendly, I should have gone with the Godfather special. A lovey deli attached to so if you need great Parmesan grated fresh come here.

One of the best places we’ve eaten in Byron. Simple and no fuss. Delicious pizza. Fresh, tasty, beautiful ingredients and perfect dough – not too thin, not too dough-y. And if you love salad with your pizza, this place does them very well.

Calling it A slice of Italy would be Cheesy ; ). Seriously this place is Authentic for lack of a better word. Check out the Porchetta made in-house and choose to have it sliced with some mozzarella on a freshly baked focaccia, then wash it down with a Chinotto, Its the closest were gonna get to Italy during these times.
