Exceptional food and friendly staff. We loved this place so much we ate there twice during our week stay at Byron including for my partners birthday. The staff were extremely accomodating and made us feel welcomed. Some of the best pasta I have ever eaten. It is reasonably priced for the high quality of the food. Will definitely be visiting again next time we are back in Byron and I am going to be recommending this place to all friends and family.

Bah Humbug and Unreliable! They cancelled our Christmas Day lunch 5 days out which we booked months in advance based on research.

Excellent food and service. What a great find on our little staycation. Had the duck gnocchi which was soooooo delicious. You have to have the sourdough loaf and burrata. Topped off with chocolate cake and peanut butter ice cream

The Italian used to be amazing when it was over on Bay street and has continued to go downhill since it moved to the new location to the point we won’t return. On a quiet Tuesday night: 15 minutes to get water, 20 minutes to get cocktails (negroni no longer on the menu at an italian cafe??), the italian board came fast and remains great, then 40 minutes until the mains appeared with no apology from anyone, even though we asked where the mains were and no requests to fill our drinks or get another round. Two of the four mains were cold and all were average…for a $250 bill with two cocktails. I shared this feedback when asked on paying the bill and was told our server was new….just threw the server under the bus. There are many better choices in Byron.

I had confused the Italian Byron Bay with the Italian Restaurant at Belongil Beach. I really enjoyed this one but found the noise at the Italian Restaurant at Belongil to be intolerable. Talking was impossible there. However, The Italian Byron Bay is terrific and I recommend it

We expected it to be a good and.. it was! The menu variety and the specials on the board made it difficult for us to choose. The pumpkin and goat cheese ravioli were very tasty and the market fish with aubergine purée and caponata was very well presented and had unique textures and tastes.
