This is such a fun idea for a restaurant. You pick your own food from a frozen / fridge section in a bowl and hand it to the chef who then cooks it on a giant shield-shaped hot plate.

I went here for a birthday just recently, and it was the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had! The service was instantaneous and so homely and nice. The food was singlehandedly the best I’ve had at a restaurant. I tried as many sauce combinations as I could, and they were all perfect! As it’s cooked on the famous hot plate, the food is instantly on your plate too! The decor and atmosphere was also really great. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant any more highly.

It was a pleasant experience to see food cooked on a huge iron plate. It was a bit disappointing that the rice and noodles that were served as a base were dry, but the taste of the iron plate was pretty good.And this bbq is cost-effective.

Love love love eating here. Made a booking for a large number of people. On arrival everything was set up for us and ready to go. We brought balloons and we were allowed to bring our own cake. When ready you can go up and get a bowl and fill it with meat and or vegetables. There is chicken, beef, pork and lamb. There is approximately 8 different vegetable options. Then choose the sauce or sauces you’d like to go with it. The chefs then take your bowl tipping the contents onto the huge hotplate/BBQ and cook it using their giant chop stick type cooking utensils. In no time at all your meal is ready. They place it back in the bowl, and pass it to you. You can then serve yourself rice and noodles to accompany your meal if you choose. There are plenty of vegetarian options. Restaurant is always clean and staff are so lovely and friendly. There is limited free parking behind the restaurant or parking on the street which at certain times is timed. Overall excellent night, great tasting food with a different dinning experience. Will definitely eat here again

Very busy venue so reservations are needed to avoid disappointment. Several large groups celebrating birthdays. The “all you can eat” option had limited items for stir fry, but given the very reasonable price point i.e. $25 per adult, it was understandable. The novelty of choosing food items and having them stir-fried on the wood burning grill added a different dining experience. Staff friendly and they were busy clearing plates. I went out of curiousity and the experience and if you up for something different, try this place out.
