Not only did Dock 5 exceed my expectations with its impeccable service and delicious food, but its Asian fusion cuisine was a delightful surprise. The flavors and presentation of each dish were a true feast for the senses. As a solo diner, I was particularly pleased with how the lovely staff went out of their way to accommodate me and make me feel welcome. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience, and I would highly recommend Dock 5 to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable culinary experience in Wangaratta. Recommend the Bao buns, prawn toast and pork/barramundi salad!

We were advised by our accommodation to try Dock 5 as a great local offering. Dock 5 did not disappoint! Grace and the broader team were lovely and the food lived up to the hype! Booking is essential – particularly over the weekend. Our recos are the barra+pork, salmon and the chicken wings (not to be missed!)

Mmm. The ambience and staff are awesome! But that’s about it… Contrary to other reviewers, we found the fusion dishes overrated. As the two of us weren’t quite interested in the more ‘mainstream’ larger dishes, we ordered seven small to medium plates instead. The jalapeño poppers and eggplant tempura would have been much better without the thick deep-fried batter. (The traditional way of cooking is arguably much much better.) We felt that the fusion dishes could have been more ‘fusion-y’/original/creative. Accompanying sauces were also off the mark. The salmon and duck wrap were good but the sizes were very much on the small side.

Have been there twice now and really enjoyed the experience, particularly a warm night sitting on the rear deck. Tried the twisted prawns and the curry katsu and they were great. But the standout was the amazing and attentive service from Ally, its very rare to have such a pleasant evening out and be looked after so well !

Loved Dock 5. The vegan Bao was my favourite! But the cauliflower starter was also amazing. My partner had a few meaty dishes (karaage chicken bao and chicken satay) but preferred my vegan dishes. The food came out in great timing.
