If this was the first sushi restaurant you’ve ever visited, you might have a great experience. After dozens of experiences, however, you notice when the items which should be cold are warm, and the items which should be warm are cold.

They have wide range of sushi options on the train carousel belt. All were delicious and fresh. I also ordered tempura udon noodle soup to enjoy on a cold winter night.

Friendly staff and good food. The only problem is that the cooked dishes are not hot once they are on the moving conveyor table.

Lots of booth seating around the moving conveyor table. Several booths along the window and bar style stool seating as well. There is a good selection of sashimi sushi and cooked food. The menu offer soup noodles and other cooked dishes and the standard sashimi platter. The staff are lovely and attentive.

I ordered a takeaway shashmi platter, oceanic platter $38, very good value, nicely presented in a box, staff is very helpful, note: needs 2 hours for the restaurant to prepare this special order. My hotel is just round the corner, so I just have a rest and then collect my food. Very happy and satisfied.

Perfectly fine but as someone who doesn’t enjoy sushi, I’m just rating this based on the non-sushi options. They’re ran out of the fried gyozas that i wanted so offered some of the spicy ones instead. When they arrived, they were cold, and i ordered from the waitress rather than picking them up off the train to get them freshly cooked. The Karage chicken was crispy and tasty but the spring rolls were tiny. I’ll go back to Sushi Train next time.

Good food, fresh sushi and sashimi. However, it seem kinda weird in the way they serve takeaway customers. So they’ just put the dishes on the table and left it there. I have to ask what should I do, then they took the takeaway container and gave it to me so I can put the sashimi in by myself. Not really sure if this is a tradition way in sushi train restaurants or not, but I’m not really happy with the way they just stood there and stared at me without giving any guidance.

Very delicious but I saw a bunch of Western Europeans eating their sushi with forks. I dont know what to say. I was disgusted at the sight, it felt like a hatecrime. Also ordered some rolls via the QR code and the sushi was warm. Fix that.

That was my favorite sushi place for a long time, unfortunately Idk if yesterday the staff wasn’t happy when she do the service, she sounds like frustrated when my friend offered to pay by cash, she emphasized every single words to talk with my friend, the female staff with glasses on, if she feel unwell, I’d love to advise her go home, instead of giving poor service, however, everyone is nice, but there are something I concern about, I have never had allergic to seafood, but yesterday when i ate a portion of baby squid with rice, my friend said it smelled but i think it’s because he doesn’t like seafood, and when i ate it, it seemed so viscous and so chewy that i couldn’t bite it off, then when i got home i found that the corners of my mouth were red itchy and painful, which i have never experienced while eating at kintaro, i could conclude that the baby squid had gone rancid,
