On Friday, when we arrived in Brisbane we went to the Myer Centre as usual for lunch and was disappointed to see Sunrise Kebab was turned into a dining area. We went to the next level and saw this kebab place opposite Kentucky Fried Chicken and decided to try their chicken kebab. The kebab they serviced here is the best in Brisbane. Came here for lunch, I didn’t know about the family deal since it was my first time there, the lovely lady at the counter pointed it out to me and it saved me money as well. Both her and the gentleman that worked there were so very nice and the food was delicious. Very well priced as well. Would go here again next time

All staff need proper training on food safety practices – a glove on a hand isn’t of any use if you then use that gloved hand to touch anything and everything including fresh food toppings – and yes, I witnessed multiple staff doing this right in front of me.

I have tried many kebab shops in the CBD. This one is the only one that does it right. There’s no overloading of lettuce to fill space. The meats are well-cooked, and generously proportioned. And the veggie ingredients are fresh, so you don’t end up with a pool of liquid down the bottom threatening to spill out. Chips are well-seasoned too. Service is good too: it’s nice to see junior staff getting treated kindly by the busy owners, despite how busy they must be. A bit out of the way, down the bottom of the Myer Centre, but it’s worth the walk. Thanks for doing what you do.
