We got a dozen oysters as takeaway. They were all wrapped up so we couldn’t properly assess them when purchasing. When we got home with them they were green in colour and stunk. Disappointing when you pay $32 for a dozen oysters and have to throw them out as they were off :/

Burger. Plain burger with raw thick red onion. No thanks. Onion on a burger needs to be cooked. Ruined it for me . Wow. Cook the onion. How hard is it . Hubby liked fish and chips but the burger nope nope nope. Cook the onion.

smoking while preparing food drinking alcohol from open to closing so all the locals and visitors look out, driving home drunk every day from Karuah to Nelsons Bay. Horrible, nasty owner. And sorry to tell the truth but the only thing that is made in house is the scallops and chips and tartare sauce. Everything else is frozen and brought in frozen.

Amazingly this business seems to have survived the pandemic unscathed. Good food and good friendly service. Plenty of parking along side the main street. Would happily go again.
