Porterhouse was cooked well (medium rare) and the mixed platters added variety. Had the limoncello martini which brought back memories of cinque terra. Overall a homely Italian experience worth visiting.

The crab in my marinara was raw! The linguine and gnocchi ordered by others at my table were reportedly bland. Pretty much every dish ordered including dessert were all ‘meh’. Our overall collective experience was below expectations for the price we paid. Very unlikely to return.

This was my first experience at Kappy’s and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant feels very authentic Italian with it’s red and white table cloths and tasteful decor. The food was definitely the kicker to make me come back. I had one of the best seafood risotto’s I ever tasted. The wine selection was great and reasonably priced. The staff were prompt and friendly. Given that this is located around the corner from my office in Guildford I’ll definitely be visiting again for a long Friday lunch.

It looked busy and looked like a nice place for family dinner… but we all got gastro as soon as we got home. All of us. We were not impressed with the service but it was rather busy for a Thursday evening so that’s okay. Definitely not a kid friendly place… we had family (2 adults, 2 kids and a baby) dinner there and there was no high chair. Kids meals were overpriced at $20 each just for pasta and no sides or extras for the kids. Other meals were overpriced for average quality food… you can get better Italian food at many other places. Overall a disappointment Would not come back again.

We brought our 2 granddaughters for dinner. The herb garlic bread was the best thing about my whole meal. My lasagne was obviously microwaved warm as the edges were hot but the centre was cold, the little salad served with the lasagne was nice crisp and fresh. I wouldn’t recommend or visit a second time.

WOW WOW WOW. Just amazing little Italian restaurant. Cozy decor, extremely welcoming staff and the food, yum. Huge serving and great prices. Will be back and soon. Pics are Creamy prawn & scallop ravioli and smoked salmon. Porcini Mushroom risotto with truffle oil.

One of the best places for an Italian meal in Perth. Perfect and attentive service, great food and very accommodating for kids etc. (they don’t have kids meals as such but happy to make smaller serves of something) Also in the WA entertainment book. Great place in winter time as its protected from the elements with great heating.
