We went here today at lunch time, the ambiance first of all was really great. Accomodating and Courteous wait staff assisted us to our table. We ordered Pork Sinigang and Crispy Pork Kare Kare for our main dish. Purple Yam Ice Cream as our dessert. The serving was really generous for its price. The taste of the food just brought me back home. The taste of food made with love and care.

The kare kare and sisig were amazing. Not even exaggerating, the kare kare had the crispiest pork ive ever had and the sauce was addictive sisig tasted really good as well but it became pretty mushy after mixing, but still good. Service was great and the atmosphere reminds me of restaurants in the philippines.

My friends and I went to have lunch at Kaldero Cafe on Saturday. Good ambiance, friendly service, and good food. The food we ordered comforted us in our homesickness. It was worth the 1 hour and 35 minutes travel. It would have been better if they had the original halo-halo to end the Filipino meal perfectly. But overall, I recommend the place. We ended our trip with a stroll at the Geelong Waterfront.

You absolutely must try the food at Kaldero cafe. They serve Filipino food and my word is it tasty. I came to try their pancit palabok (shrimp and noodles in rich pork gravy) after seeing another review on Google. The bowl was just about overflowing with piping hot delicious prawns, eggs, noodles and a thick savoury gravy with bits of pork crackling. If you’re after a big feed at a reasonable price this place is for you. You will find the menu is stacked full of unique items.
