I visited during lockdown when no more than 3 allowed in shop. I selected Snapper (from the window) & chips and then had to wait outside. The fish I got was not fresh. It was definitely cooked more than once and was very dry, almost burnt. I live in Sussex Inlet and will never go to Batesys again. I cook fish much better myself.

Whist the food was ok and only two choices of fish to choose from the staff could definitely use some people skills. From when I walked in and ordered it honestly felt like I was an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Lucky they are probably the only fish and chip shop in the area cause if there was anywhere else to go I would.
