I recently made a booking here for my dads birthday. The service was friendly and the meals were delicious. My only two issues were that some of the food items weren’t on both the physical copy and the online ordering system. So I had to order my nans separately as the senior menu wasn’t on the online ordering and neither was her choice of drink, the other issue I ran into was when ordering the steak sandwich online they only had the option to say no to the onion but I don’t don’t eat bacon. Since there wasn’t an option to remove it I had to wait to receive it and then remove it from my sandwich myself. Other then that everything about the experience was great.

I have stopped here a number of times on the way home from mountain biking and ill definitely stop in again. Food is fresh and servings generous, beers are ice cold and service is on point. The music is never too loud (all pubs take note) and there is heaps of space for all the crew often with bikes and always great vibes to boot.

My meal at the Kalamunda Pub last Sunday was delicious, its the second time I’ve ordered the crispy skin salmon and prawns in the last few months. The portion size was spot on and salmon perfectly cooked. The staff were attentive and accommodating with switching on the outdoor heating. We are often late lunch goers, so it’s always great to have somewhere to get a delicious feed and cold beverage after our mountain bike rides. The manager has also been great with assisting us with group bookings for our social catch up after our women’s rides – Thank you 🙂

Old pub with nice outdoor eating area and very welcoming of dogs. The indoor dining area also looked nice. The site was full for Saturday lunch. They were apparently short-staffed, with a long queue to order lunch & drinks (but you can order online if you like), but we didn’t have to wait too long for the food to come out and it was good. The beef burger was big, with a large patty, & others in our group enjoyed the fish & chips, BLT, & kids’ cheeseburger meals. No idea if there is a drinking water station as it wasn’t mentioned, and no water was supplied at the table, nor did anyone check on us again after bringing the food out. 2-3 stars for service, but 4 when considering food & atmosphere.

We went for dinner. Beautiful interior and exterior seating areas. Ordering mostly off the app as nobody approached us to assist. Food was okay. Kids meals were really good and actually had salad. Our meals were okay but a bit overcooked. Staff helpful and friendly if you approach them first.
