2nd time here and really enjoy it, as does my teenager. Meat skewers are so well seasoned and juicy and we enjoyed the 2 x mixed grill. One with the bread, the other with the rice (no currants). It’s our favourite place to eat in Pakenham. It wasn’t busy early on a Friday night, but it should be. If you like really tasty meat on a stick, you have to try this place. The service is also very friendly and prices are very reasonable..

Kabul Spices is what I would classify as an ‘honest’ restaurant. They don’t have overly elaborate descriptions on the menu, not plush, not all over social media, BUT, they serve amazing food at reasonable prices.

Lamb skewer was very dry and chewy, seemed like the old lamb was reheated and served. The quantity of the curry was not worth the price and the afghan bread was barely warm, not freshly cooked. Disappointed with the quality of the food.

First time we tried this restaurant, the food was fantastic, meat tender, rice superb, had a mixture of all sorts of beutiful dishes. Friendly and helpful service. About time There is a great restaurant in Pakenham like this one. Recommend this place highly. See you again soon.
