Absolute disappointment! The rice looked & smelled off and the carrots on kabuli rice had the worst smell probably weeks old! And the ashak what fail, dry and massive ball of pastry and it didnt look like ashak! Never ever go there if you are craving afghan food! Disgusting !!! DONT serve old foood!

Food is excellent value for money. Very tasty and large portions. The main meal, a rice dish with leg of lamb and two bowls of okra and egg plant curry was very delicious. Little bowls of barley soup before the main dish, excellent entree. What a satifying meal! After we had some tasty black Afghan tea. Nothing to beat this meal and price! Thank you Charcoal Kebab!

Ordered this through Menulog and few items were missing after it got delivered to us. We just came back from our long journey holiday. We immediately contacted the restaurant directly and the young man answered and cussed so much and spoke too fast in mixture of eshays/bogan talk on the phone I barely could understand what he was saying. He wouldn’t accept giving us a full refund for the mix up and expected us to Uber to him and pick up our missing meals rofl when we already paid the delivery prior where it’s their fault for not giving us the meals we paid for. They said they’d delivered the missing items in 14 minutes but it arrived 56 minutes later. We waited a total of 2.4 and where our meals were too dry or stale and the chicken korma was an absolute mess (shown in pic).

I’ve ordered from this place a couple of time (only because they’re the only Middle Eastern restaurant in the area on UberEat) and every single time either they gave me the wrong meal or items were missing, like EVERY TIME, literally the worst restaurant I’ve ever seen in my life. Definitely don’t recommend it or you’ll be disappointed for sure.

They really need to start thinking of changing their menu’s, it’s the same food ever since it has been established. Also why they rarely have ashak, mantoo, bolani and fish not in stock? Also they say they have biryani on thier menu but never served it once since all the time I have been coming. But overall great food but it’s getting a little bit old now changes needs to be made if they want to attract more customers.
