Absolutely loved all our dishes. They were both tasty and fresh. The only thing that I can fault is the limited seating.

My first time eating a bowl of har mee so small with a few strips of vermicelli. A few pieces of pork a small slice of egg and 3 tiny prawns for 17.80. I went to ask the cashier and he told me it’s like that. I asked for mixed yellow noodles and vermicelli, it’s cheap for noodles and they can’t even give you more for 17.80. I get a big bowl from other places. Very disappointed ☹️.

Walking around food court to find something to eat and I saw this shop that have a lot of people( should be good). I ordered 3 dishes, Laksa, mamak mee goreng and Char guay tiew Laksa was average but mee goreng and Char guay tiew way too sweet. Potion quite small for $16. Waiting for orders around 15-20mins.

Jim’s Malaysian is a franchise restaurant with locations at Miranda, Chatswood, Macquarie centre, the galleries and castle towers. If you have never tried Jim’s you’re missing out, they serve the best laksa and hainanese chicken rice you can find. Prices have gone up overtime, but so has there menu serving a good selection of yummy food from house specialty, laksa, dry noodle, stir fry pipi, wok fried and rice dishes. Though I have to say sometimes what you see in their nice looking menu maybe not be served exactly the same way, which disappointed me a little. Their drinks aren’t as good as other Malaysian restaurants I’ve tried and quite pricey for it’s size. Service is good and food is served quickly.

Being a creature of habit, Jim’s Malaysian is the sort of place that nourishes my soul and doesn’t make me feel too guilty for not exploring its vast menu. My friend and I dine here regularly and always order the same thing to share – Stir Fried Flat Noodle with Beef and the King Prawn Laska. Both are delicious, taste traditional to their origins and fill a hungry tummy. This place is always full at lunch time, but the service never feels rushed or hectic. Dishes are executed and delivered to tables quickly and the staff are always friendly, courteous and helpful. All these things are what keep me coming back. Highly recommend.

Located inside Westfield, this Malayasian restaurant offers a quick and convenient bite. The dishes are mostly good, the wat dan hor is great and the soy noodles. The laksa is a bit on the watery side, but flavours are good. Love the pickled chilli here.

We had the seafood laksa.. not spicy at all and the flavour just didn’t have that nice punchy kick. Sad as it cost us $17!! I am happy to try other dishes in the menu but I would advise you stay away from the laksa especially if you’re expecting a delicious one.
