Wow! Never have I ever ordered a coffee and been belittled by someone serving me. After placing my order, the lady working at Jamaica Blue proceeded to ask me if I wanted the join the Jamaica Blue club. I was in from out of town, Sarina to be specific, and I responded that I rarely come into town as I’m from Sarina and kindly declined. Well, her response was “Oh, I wouldn’t be telling anyone you’re from Sarina… that’s a shame job”. Her exact words! I responded in saying “Well I like it there in Sarina, the people there are so friendly” and left it at that. I’ve always been respectful towards staff in customer service, but to experience something as distasteful as this.. never have I been judged like that for where I live.

Flawless experience here this morning. Young girl with dark hair in a bun on the register was wonderful and so welcoming, then my coffee and eggs Benedict were AMAZING! Also was a pleasant surprise that there was a spring onion garnish as it is my favourite thing ever and just elevated my meal! Staff were available and polite but didn’t interrupt or hang around. Restaurant was very clean too! Thanks heaps for a great breakfast

Visited Mackay recently and popped into this shop in Canelands last Sunday. We waited in line for over 20 minutes before being served and when we got to the counter we ordered 2 x latte’s with coconut milk. We had our own takeaway cups that are 500ml maximum.

my girlfriend Jodi and I recently visited Jamaica Blue canelands, having lost my sight 5 Yrs ago eating out can be very daunting. Not so today our lovely young waitress ELEN catered to my disability with the up most respect I’d like to thank ELEN for treating me like a normal human being. Jodi And I would also like to than Jamaica Blue and ELEN for this great dining experience .
