We have a small number of restaurants where we like to dine when in Port Douglas and the always reliable Jade Inn is one of them.

The food at Jade Inn was delicious and one of the best restaurants in Port Douglas!!! We had dinner here for our last night and we wish we found it sooner! The dumplings were made fresh in house and the dim sims were amazing – best we’ve ever had. Oh and the chicken and cashew nut… so yummm! Highly recommend!

This Chinese restaurant definitely exceeded my expectations.. even though they were under staffed, the staff was still so friendly and surprisingly attentive to their customers needs. They were full of energy and full of positivity in their service.

We dined here for the first time tonight and WOW! This place is wonderful, from the staff, to the ambience, to the delicious food, we cannot fault it. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food came out quickly and super fresh.

Ever excellent Chinese restaurant situated in the heart of Macrossan Street. We’ve been coming here for several years and the standard has never faltered. Great range of international beers and wines. Service is friendly, attentive and efficient. As with anywhere in Port Douglas, depending on the time of year, it can be a good idea to book but more than once we’ve got lucky in getting a table even without a booking. Sweet and sour chicken is my favourite: lightly battered, perfect balanced flavour with just a touch of ginger shining through. Highly recommended!

Would highly recommend this. Great food at a great price, unlike most other places in Port Douglas. Very friendly service and we were lucky enough get a table for 6 without booking! We especially loved the Chicken Chow Mein with soft noodles, and the mixed vegetables with deep fried tofu. Anything with black bean or szechuan sauce was also delicious. The cocktails were also great, especially their version of Espresso Martini.

Sept. 11th: 1st visit to Jade Inn for 7 years thanks to Covid, QLD lockdown, life in general. Glad to see that they haven’t dropped their standards one bit. Still outstanding. Booked in again for the last night of our hols on Friday!

We have been here a few times, the food is absolutely amazing, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is very nice, last night while waiting for our meals, we we’re playing with our chopsticks, the owner came over to our table, & gave us a lesson on how to use chopsticks twice, by the time we left we had the hang of it. It was a great experience, we will be back

One of the best chinese meals I’ve ever had! Service was efficiant but could probably had one extra staff member but didn’t effect our service or meal. The food was very tasty and everything was amazing. I had the garlic king prawns and were a lot of prawns not just a few.
