Fine dining Japanese fusion food presented beautifully and also tastes delicious. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. Food arrives quickly and good selection of drinks and cocktails. Dined here twice and both food and service was great both times. Atmosphere and ambience is good as well. Highly recommend.

Good food and great staff. We ordered the superior set for 2 people. I felt there was more than enough food and the speed it came out was really good. All of the food was very delicious, all cooked to perfection. The only comment I would make is that it was slightly a bit too spicy…

Love the vibe and ambience of the restaurant. Perfect for dates or group celebrations. We sat right in front of the kitchen and it was a treat!

We tried the valentine’s day Set Menu. All the menu was tasteless and oyster was not fresh. The main dishes and sauce dancing individually in my mouth. The sushi chef looks like didn’t know how to slice the fish. One piece of sashimi is bigger than chefs thumb.

The staff here were so very accommodating and friendly. Had booking issues but they were able to fit a party of 3 in very quickly. The food was outstanding. Recommendation is to share your plate with others but after the first bite you wish you’d keep the food to yourself. Will be back to try the menu items we didn’t order this time around. I recommend the scallops and Japanese spritz.

New restaurant in a new hotel located in Brisbane CBD. We checked out their Instagram page before coming so we have some high expectations. They did not disappoint. Every single dish we ordered was amazingly good and their ambience and service were also excellent. 100% would recommend this place to anyone.

A new contemporary Japanese restaurant in Brisbane cbd. Huge potential but slightly disappointed. Fantastic atmosphere and deco, spacious as well. Located in Hotel Indigo which is not easy to find. Had a friendly staff situated at the entrance to guide which is a nice touch. Food is average but the mushroom udon was the highlight of the night. Service is average but they appear to be struggling to warm the sake properly which is a surprise in a reasonably high end Japanese restaurant. Price is on the higher side esp with the food and service received.

Came to bar 1603 and had a sneak preview of Izakaya Publico…. traditional Japanese dining experience for the culinary curious. As the first restaurant in Australia with a Warayaki Grill, local produce is cooked to perfection using a unique grilling technique…. I can’t wait to try it out! This rating is just based on the helpful staff and amazing artwork and design of the restaurant
