I recently had my baby shower at House of Gabriel and was a magical morning it was. We enjoyed a delicious high tea in the outdoor setting. The decor was absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious starting with the scones with jam and cream and the passionfruit drink was so refreshing.

Riverside cafe in Tabulam – we really enjoyed our lunch there today! We chose 2 different options then ate half each! Service was quick & efficient & the food & coffee was delicious! In for breakfast and reading the reviews, bit overcast this morning ordered large flat white with scrambled Eggs on toast with bacon coffee. Good. Scrambles eggs, no flavour bland dry crumbling bacon strap cuts ordinary served in a bowl . Please, at this price point use high quality ingredients dash cream in the scramble note the trend with using bowls came from the American prison system and that’s were it should of stayed

Our birthday lunch for 7 could not have been more perfect. Lee the head chef attended to us personally. The passion fruit punch was delicious. Everyone was delighted by the food, service and atmosphere. The chef even brought out cake & candle for the birthday girl.

Nice quiet spot just off the highway, about a 10 minute diversion driving through cane fields along the Tweed River – fabulous view over the river and good food/coffee. Not a big menu but good options. Closes after lunch, well worth the trip and a much more relaxing experience than petrol station stops.

Absolutely beautiful place. Staff were friendly. Nice presentation. Had a high tea for a baby shower event and all guests were pleased. Only feedback I gathered from the guests was that 1 more scone each person would have made it perfect. The offer of coffee at the end was a nice surprise and very appreciated. Thank you!
