Small but lively joint right on the street. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, 6 beers on tap and many more in cans. Went here for Sunday roast beef night — the carnivore enjoyed the A$29 roast, not the best of all time, but tons of vegetables and good gravy. Roast beef seemed to be put on a grill to warm up before being sent out, as it was partially seared, but still good. Vegetarians enjoyed the Welsh Rarebit (beer chesse instead of cheese sauce), fried pickles, and bruschetta (on garlic bread – an interesting but yummy change).

We got the loaded fries, baked brie and popcorn chicken and it was all just amazing, so happy with the meal. The gravy on the chips was to die for, real tasty gravy and the brie with the confit Garlic and caramelised onion pickle was just delicious! The chicken was so tasty! So happy with the service and meal, after having a terrible experience at another place nearby I was even more happy with getting these amazing dishes. And they have Better beer on tap!! Love it! Thank you Hop and Pickle! Chef should be proud
