We had a large group booking with children and the staff made sure that the children didn’t go hungry. They also helpfully let us know that there were other large groups and so that we weren’t too late. The food was all delicious and when we added on extra serves halfway through they arrived quickly. Service was spot on all night. Great wine list and you definitely need to try a dessert shot.

Great food and service. We’ve been here more than a few times and the food is always great, big serve, the staff friendly and helpful. Their chicken (not in the photos were great, octopus and steak are great as well). I’ll come back if I ever visit Adelaide again

Firstly, the 8-hour smoked beef brisket was an absolute standout dish. The meat was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender with a beautiful smoky flavour that melted in my mouth. It was served with mojito salsa, and pickled onion that complemented the meat perfectly, and the sides of black bean salad, and baby potatoes were the perfect accompaniments. This dish alone is reason enough to visit Hoosegow restaurant.

Visiting from Sydney and found Hoosegow on Instagram. It didn’t disappoint, food was incredible and they have the nicest staff on the planet. We interacted with at least 6 different staff and all of them were so friendly. One of us has an egg allergy, which we put in the reservation notes- our waiter was prepared and told us the menu items that contained egg. Delicious food, generous portions- so so tasty! Highly recommend.
