Good menu with all the classics. We had steamed barramundi and assorted vegetables. Everything was fresh; the flavours were subtle and delicious. Not the cheapest or most atmospheric option, but definitely worth the visit.

Amazing food and really lovely staff who made our experience really note worthy. We started off with dumplings which were perfect, followed by the photographed dishes which were Laksa and pork. They were really fresh and delicious. We will be back for sure!

Another smash and grab, what a meal. The best Sui Mai and on par with anything I’ve had before. About time Steel City had a place that does proper dumplings!!. Also you don’t have to travel a billion miles to get the quality that you have to line up for in Sydney. Yeah .. lines in Sydney post CoVid are a curse. So this local is a god send. Plenty of seating available every time we have been there but a little chaotic service but that is the trade off (you don’t get something for nothing these days). Get down there folks! But not too many as we have walked in and sat down every time so far. Great joint, highly recommended. Consume, enjoy and relax

This is a great addition to the wollongong food scene. A huge menu, including yum cha options. Food was fresh, well cooked and very tasty. The Mongolian lamb and fried rice was epic. Dumplings were great.

If you only read their English menu, double check if the dish really has the ingredients that the menu says!

Main dishes were decent, but did leave me and my partner a sickly feeling few hours later, into the next day. We were served poorly cooked pan fried chicken dumplings – they were a glossy pink, basically raw. We did politely ask if we could have them recooked, however this was never actioned. Fortunately we weren’t charged but still not an experience I would recommend. It is a nice looking restaurant but.
