Very Friendly services. Great coffee the Chocolate Chai Latte is surprisingly good. Yummy food, especially the burritos bowl, just wish there are more hash brown & corn chips.

There’s a real comfort to going back to a place you haven’t been to in years and finding it just as you left. They still have their signature dishes (dhal, chilli scrambled eggs, breakfast gnocchi) because if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Lovely staff, and lovely atmosphere. Steak sandwich was good and satisfying, with a small amount of chips. Gnocchi was crispy on the outside, but undercooked inside like they had skipped the boiling step and went straight to pan frying – unfortunately tasted like undercooked pancake and we couldn’t finish it, even after they kindly fried it a bit more at our request. The mushrooms in there were super delicious though! Serving size was small.

One of basso’s hidden gems , relaxed with a modern old feel like it was one of the first to go modern years ago …. excellent service and coffee was good along with a breaky quiche and all topped off with some winter sun …. great start to any day …. Thanks guys
