This is my favorite noodle store in Melbourne, everything is so perfect. It’s a very close store to our office, which makes dining easy with a beautiful taste. The noodles are very authentic Chongqing flavor, the brisket is very soft and bit sweet, and the flavor is very delicate with the cabbage buried underneath the noodles adding a different layer to the entire experience. I really like their chili pepper, it’s a kind of fried chili pepper, which gives the whole bowl of noodles a soul, followed by the Chinese snow cabbage, which is a rare Chinese vegedish here in Melbourne, almost the highlight of the noodles and a garnish!

Found this noodle place while searching in the area and boy am I glad I did. It’s kind of tucked away down a lane, so you have to look for it. I ordered the Signature Chong Qing noodles (less spicy) which was a bargain for less than $13! You can add a protein for an additional fee. The noodles were so tasty with just the right amount of heat. Perfect for a cool and rainy fall day!

Second time I’ve been here. The google rating is a fair reflection of the quality of the food. This is not a restaurant that has gamed the Google maps metrics and artificially inflated their rating IMHO. Food is good value and tasty. The noodles were the right texture. Broth was flavoursome. Bowl empty at the end.

Heard so much about it and I thought to myself that this deserves a chance. I was nearby and decided to go there for lunch. The place is close to RMIT so be careful with the parking permits. I myself cough up a parking fine just to taste this but ohh boyy it was definitely worth the fine 😀

I was happy to discover this place by accident! I ordered the Signature CQ noodles with beef ($18.63) and it was very good. The pork soup base was simply delicious. The beef was juicy and along with that a good portion of noodles. If only this place was more known to people and on the streets… I’m a fan of this place. Great staff to recommend you as well!
