Ended up here as the kids were desperate for food after driving back from Mt Field to Hobart. Food did not live up to the reviews we read. Found the food bland and sauces strange. Honey chicken was mostly breading, barely any chicken! Garlic prawns served with chunks of onions but no other veg. Presentation for dine in 1/5–not surprising as everyone else who stopped in was getting takeaway. I’ll listen to the kids complain and get food when back in Hobart next time.

As a Cantonese I can assure they have traditional home made Cantonese food. Our whole family enjoyed the figleaf gourd dish and the wonbok rolls. The overall taste is not too oily or salty, just right!

Really enjoyable Chinese restaurant. Limited dine-in seating inside (best to book beforehand or walk in early). No high chair available. However owners & staff very friendly and happy to accomodate where they can. Food tasty and came out fast. A little gem in New Norfolk!
