Very ordinary. My steak was OK. Wife’s steak was tough. Veges were uncooked. Apple and rhubarb crumble had great crumble but fruit was not cooked beforehand. So it was tart. Small amount of custard didn’t help. It seems that people like the shanks. Probably not really a chef

Hearty meals and warm service. Just what was needed in a cold August night. Mum had shanks and I had Pork cutlet, both were huge and tasty. The pecan pie we shared was Devine and definitely worth forcing ourselves to order 🙂

Unfortunately we wanted to like this restaurant but it appears they don’t have a chef or even experienced cook. Garlic bread was a coles bun with garlic butter on the side, steaks were medium to well done despite ordering medium rare (fyi, its a $42 steak so should be cooked perfectly), mushroom sauce was out of a packet, beans were way over cooked and chilli chips was just chilli powder on standard hot chips. Sorry guys, perhaps make the menu smaller to be easier because it doesn’t take much to make fresh garlic bread or cook beans
