We always enjoy the food at H P and this was no exception. The service was a bit haphazard, napkins, cuttlery and sauces ALL forgotten and the restaurant itself felt very tired and unloved. We’ll consider take away next time and make sure everything is included before we leave.

I was there before 7pm to order a family meal and the young girl told me all the pieces would be wings but there were only 7 wings left too.. I laughed a little and said, well will you be cooking more, she said NO, it’s too late. Really? I then said so if I’m ordering 15 pieces of chicken with the sides and you only have 7 wings, do I have to still pay the full price and she said, YES. Off to KFC unfortunately. The owners here run a very poor business. We drive a long way to get Henny Penny and there is always an issue at this store although we recently visited Edgeworth too at about 5pm and was told they had no chicken and weren’t cooking anymore.. what is going on?

Had lunch here with my girls. The young man who served us was clearly learning, but he was polite and respectful and asked another young man for help when he needed it. Young man number 2 was also polite and respectful.

We just had a great experience with the Henny Penny drive through. There was an issue with the EFPOST machine but the man working the counter was very helpful and the issue was resolved promptly. He was very friendly and can’t recommend Henny Penny enough after our interaction with him, it was very nice! Food was great as well

Different from KFC, great tasting chicken not oily, fully of flavour and all food is served hot. Good shop, plenty of tables and seating staff are very cheerful and happy to answer any questions.

One person ahead of me in the drive through. 40 mins to get three rubbery little chicken thighs, soggy chips, watery gravy and a coleslaw I’d never trust. At least the sprite was cold. Hopeless.
