Awesome food and service. Everything we had for breakfast tasted delicious. The thick cut bacon was fabulous. The duck, eggs, hasbrown, tomato relish etc. all tasted great. The service was also top notch. We truly enjoyed the breakfast at this cozy place.

Heartwood would be hands down my favourite place in Yarra Glen! We had the set menu and it was mind blowing. They accommodated so well for gluten free which is always a bonus! All the local wines from the match wine menu were delicious, especially the riesling! We loved sitting by the cosy fire!

We stoped at Heartwood for some takeaway coffee and cake while on our way to Mansfield. Nice little café restaurants with a great vibe and a good looking menu. I loved the old architectural building, when you step inside it takes you back in time. We ordered takeaway coffee and hot chocolate and some cake for the kids. coffee was great, although it took over 30 mins to get the coffee. Love to come back for a meal and enjoy the colonial vibe of the place.

We’ve had such a great lunch at Heartswood! The portions were super generous, I really enjoyed the crispness of my schnitty paired up with a nice slaw that helped cut the oiliness of the butter sauce. My partner had the son in law eggs which was really good, sweet from the caramel sauce and fresh from the herbs.
