Whilst $12.50 isn’t the usual banh mi price most of us are used to, this is well worth the price and a price I’d be willing to pay any day for this quality. The tiger roll was crispy and flaky but still soft on the inside, there was so much crispy, fatty meat and salad packed into it and the hoisin was plentiful without overpowering the roll. Also special mention to the giant slice of pickled radish in the middle which satisfied my pickle cravings!

Today I went to this bakery and order the crazy delish crispy pork+hoisin. This is honestly the most crispy banh my I ever had in Mel. The pork is also really crispy as well, the sweet and sour pickle carrot and daikon combine with the salty sauce, so yummmy.

This is what possibly the best banh mi I’ve ever had looks like. Big call I know, but every element in this roll was absolutely perfect and well balanced as a whole! The baguette was equally as delicious as the amazing serving of pork and crackling. This one’s worth going out of your way for!

I can’t believe I lived without caramelised tofu! YUMMMM. So good. Hidden away, perfect take away lunch joint. They also do super cute reasonable combos like roll + viet coffee or roll + pho. Will definitely be back!

I think it’s the tastiest banh mi in the CBD. The roast pork is always crunchy and juicy and Stephanie who runs the place is a great host. They’re opening a new store up on Spring Street soon which I’m looking forward to trying.
