This place has really rich variety, be it vegetarian or meat, never disappoints. We went with friends, ordered a lot of food, everything was super tasty.

Absolutely love the food and service here. Kingfish sashimi was really fresh and yummy. I had this funny sounding dish wrapped in a betel leaf. Yummy too. Tasted like really yummy mystery meat to me. I think it was called kapulu.

Came here for lunch on a weekday, the food was okay, an interesting take on traditional Viet food. Ordered the wings, pig’s ear banh mi, and soft shell crab (shared b/w 2), the banh mi probably tasted the best out of these, but the portion sizes were small compared to the prices. Personal preference: we were seated at a high table and it was a bit difficult to move the chairs around.

Would HIGHLY recommend. Food was decently priced and you definitely get what you paid for. Don’t be fooled by the lack of food posts on Instagram if you’re that type of person (because IG posts do not determine how good a place will be). Food presented super well and was filling.

This restaurant has friendly, helpful staff, a vibrant atmosphere, and incredible food! But what made it stand out is their enthusiasm to accommodate different dietary requirements (in our case, low FODMAP. If you can, it’s nice to make a reservation to let them know in advance what you need). We’ve been twice now and both times had a lovely chat with the staff about our needs and enjoyed the fantastic “most of the best bits” option with all the dishes cooked no onion, no garlic. Highly recommend Uncle Collins Street!
