Definitely a nice place to go…if u are willing to wait for an hour! Me and my friends booked here and they gave us a nice seat. Thought it’s a good start however the servants keep requesting us to order, and we end up waiting our food for over an hour, even after we asked them for three times. 37 dollars for a plate of spaghetti that waits so long with an average taste is def not worth it. The atmosphere is quite nice, but that’s all. And the 2 hour limited time is very dumb if it takes u so long to serve us.

I booked Sunday lunch with my friend to celebrate my birthday. When I booked the table I didn’t mention it was for a birthday celebration, however my friend mentioned to the lovely waitress. In the end I got surprise with four of them singing happy birthday song to me and also a carrot cake. This act of kindness certainly made my day! On top of that, the dinning environment is excellent and the food are delicious. Certainly we will come back for more dinning experience.

Cosy comfort with a confident menu. We loved our lunch here. Having booked ahead and left notes for our son’s allergies, the staff were knowledgeable and attentive and all around lovely. The food was paced perfectly and you can tell that there’s attention to detail here from the kitchen to the front of house. Such a fun room to be dining in and I imagine it would transform again with evening lighting. Highly recommended, looking forward to coming back.

Lovely place for lunch in Bowral. It’s a bit small inside but has a spacious outdoor area. The tables are quite small even for two plates. The wine list is decent and fairly priced

Took my family here for lunch and we had such a pleasant and memorable experience. The staff was absolutely lovely and very attentive. Whether sitting outside or inside the vibes are 10/10, we sat inside and the interiors and decorations make for a beautiful lunch setting. We had the ocean trout, gnocchi, chicken fricasse, and beef cheek for our mains. Food was delicious, well seasoned and well cooked. Had a bite of all of these and the portions are very generous, we all left quite satisfied.

If we have rated the restaurant solely on the antipasto entree, it would have been a one-star: they cannot decide whether to have chunky or smooth advo thus mixed both into one, managed to kill the sourdough as cannot decide whether to grill or leave it stale this a rubbery (by-)product. The main saves the night with a top 5-star for the soft smooth lamb shoulder, wrong knife with the duck confit but still good (not the usual French approach).

I have been to this restaurant many times, food and service always excellent, except the last visit I didn’t have the best experience. I initially booked for later time but I was talking to the lady in the front and she said it was ok to sit earlier and ask me to come back in 5 mins while she cleared the table. I came back and I was talking to this guy at the front and explained that the lady already gave me a table earlier for my initial booking and he gave me a dirty look. We didn’t get the comfortable position of the table (next to the cashier and really tight space with high foot traffic on the side). It’s not that busy at that moment and I could see a few tables empty. We could just get a better seat for next time hopefully.
