Young crowd with good music and good vibes. This place won’t be for everyone. It is a casual bar with laid back service that also happens to serve slow cooked meats. If you like the sound of corn off the cob stuck in your teeth and the brisket melting in your mouth with flavoursome home made BBQ sauce washed down with some craft beers then this place is for you.

Hit and miss. Service was friendly and thorough when they were present yet absent and slow – as they were often not around or available- tending to the grounds and maintenance whilst we were there. Took 15 mins to get a menu. The food was mostly yummy however the Mac and cheese was sloppy and tasteless. The board was overpriced. Brisket was delish and the sausage and wings were also a hit. Potential to be a cool vibe but it was pretty much empty the whole time we were there.

Magz what a legend! We took our bar team here for a late lunch and she was the perfect host. Genuine and friendly she really made our time enjoyable. Food quality was great and presented as intended, the chef certainly did well to dish out the food for the 13 of us in good time as well. Many thanks, I’ll be visiting again shortly.

Only go to my home town so often so it was a good chance to catch up with the parents and take them out for dinner. It was a Monday night and Berthas seemed the only thing open that could be decent and not hatted pricing, unfortunately, it was the opposite. Food was a joke, the guy that greeted us who had his stretcher out of his ear (would of looked better in than the dangling mess in its absence) just told us to sit anywhere with a ‘resting I don’t give a *@#k face’ and awkwardly asked us if we wanted drinks before we’d taken a step towards a table or seen a drinks list. Once the four of us had seated we had to get up and pillage menus from other tables. I get it’s a relaxed bar & grill concept but come on.
