The person who came up with this dish has absolutely no idea what Yakiniku Rice is supposed to taste like.

9/10. Hanaichi never seems to disappoint with extremely affordable prices and high quality of food. I usually tend to get a large karaage curry which is only around $13-$14 and a extremely large portion size. Generally speaking for this price point there aren’t many other stores where you can expect such quality of foods. Well done Hanaichi!

The Wagyu beef curry did not disappoint. Tender and moist with a flavourful curry sauce, it was quite good, with the ginger atop adding a nice sour zing to offset the curry. My wife was disappointed with her Japanese chicken curry because it was warm rather than hot when served. I’d go back; she would not. We’re divided.

Great place for some homely Japanese food. Sometimes the quality of the food drops and sometimes it’s really good. It is also affordable and has a choice of small, medium and large meal sizes.

Don’t normally comment on food courts, they are what they are. Very popular, many people ordering. Don’t get drawn in… we ordered 3 different dishes… very bland, stewed beef in one dish, stodgy, little flavour. Save your appetite for something else.

Bland and dry ramen and katsu don. Expensive for what you get.

Not sure why this place has so many good reviews, the ramen was absolutely terrible, literally just instant noodles with pork floating in it and the curry was the saltiest thing I’ve ever eaten. The staff member who served us was so rude.

Not vegetarian friendly. The man at the counter told me that he had ingredients to make the tofu curry (vegetarian) but would not make it as it was “too busy” and “nobody wants tofu”, despite the fact I had asked for tofu. This has happened two weeks in a row now.
