Had the Japanese Curry Donburi dish for lunch, and it was good! The pork katsu was cooked very well (lightly fried on top and nicely cooked and tender on the inside). The curry was pretty flavorful (4/5), and the pickle was good also! There was quite a bit of rice in the dish – I wish there was some more curry. The curry was a tad bit runny but otherwise pretty good! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quick bite of Japanese food during the day! Food came out fast and was good! They also have self-service water available in the back.

I’ve eaten twice here; once for lunch, once for dinner. Both times the service was good, and the meals were warm and tasty. Ordering at the table via the barcode and website seems to work quite well. Only cold drinks are available.

Had 20 minutes for a quick lunch so stopped here and had the Japanese chicken curry. Came out real quick and was really good. It looked runny at first but once you mix it with the rice it was fine.

I had the pork katsu curry and it was a satisfactory meal. The value for money is probably the best part of don japanese as the portions are really big. The main issue I had was the vegetable choice. They literally put a big chunk of carrot and a big chunk of zucchini in that had been grilled with no seasoning that’s it. This is why I’m doing 3 stars as the curry was filling but it was also lacklustre. Usually Japanese curry has soft small cubes of veggie if variety but this was lazy and made the experience worse.
